Description

When trekking in the foothills of the Himalayas, at 18, Lekha picked up a vertebrae from what was known to be a horse graveyard. This piece remained in her possession for many years, through many shifts of city and life. She later cast this piece in brass as a candle stand, a representation of life and the fragility yet endurance of it.
